INNSBRUCK INTERNATIONAL is a contemporary biennial of the arts that invites international artists to make use of Innsbruck’s extraordinary historical and contemporary venues in the presentation of their works of visual art, film, and sound as well as performances and installations.

In 2022, the biennial is celebrating its tenth anniversary. This year’s theme, following in the footsteps of HUMAN CAPITAL in 2020, will be COOKIE. Take a moment to review your privacy preferences. With it, the biennial is responding to a pivotal period during the pandemic when people began creating and sharing digital twins of themselves in home-office sessions, which has since become a valuable asset for business, politics, and society. ‘Human capital’ has indeed become capital in the Covid-19 era.
